Sandy Gardner Freeance Artist.
Sandy has spent much of her life in the Cumbrian Lake District.  It is obvious that her work is heavily
inspired by the beauty and nature around her. Sandy’s work has been exhibited widely
and is collected by private buyers in the UK and overseas. She has been
commissioned to create a wide range of illustrative work, including artwork for
children's books, magazines, design book covers, and CD covers. Sandy has also
written for digital art magazines and books and was hired as a consultant for
the BBC Blast project. The work incorporates traditional media such as painting, drawing,
sculpture and digital photography combined using digital media. Recently Sandy has
been taking influence from her new home town in Lancaster producing work 
incorporates Williamsons Park, Lancaster Castle and Lancaster Canal.

Sandy is a fully qualified teacher with full CRB clearance.  She delivers digital workshops to primary school, secondary school KS3, GCSE, A level and Art Foundation.  She currently teaches 2 days a week at Winstanley College in WIgan tutoring Art A level and Art Foundation.
