As a fully qualified teacher I have considerable experience of teaching at secondary, 6th form level and above. I have successfully delivered digital art workshops to students and staff in primary, secondary and further education establishments around the North West.
During the workshop your students will gain an insight to the professional practice of a freelance artist and learn how to use a variety of digital tools and techniques.
Workshops can be tailored to fit your student’s current projects or I can deliverer a pre prepared project. Students can work with images from my vast digital image library or work with their own photographs taken prior to my visit on their chosen theme. In longer workshops students will have the opportunity to take their own photographs from my object collection, which includes sharks jaws, seahorses, shells, birds wings, vintage postcards and unusual artefacts. Work can include mixed textured backgrounds created by the student at the beginning of the session. Furthermore students can be shown how to record the development of their image as it is created, an essential skill for GCSE and A Level students.
Workshops can be delivered over a series of weeks or individual morning or afternoon sessions.
I am available during tern time, holidays, evenings and weekends. I am available for staff INSET.

Workshop fees, £25 per hour. Minimum of 2hrs booking to include 30mins set up.(+ cost of fuel - kept at minimum fuel cost price) Suggested class size of approx 15. Recommended ‘one off’ workshop length approximately 2 to 4hrs. Workshops can be delivered in Adobe Elements, Adobe Photoshop and Serif Photo Plus.
